Chris,

This routine does not match up to most of the routines listed.

But, starting Wednesday, if you bring your box to Florida you could get personal instruction from the creator. Plus it is really easy

Chris,, "Okito Reversembly" is in an old issue of Magic Magazine. I assume you know about the index?

Just go here and search on Chad Long. It's the first result that comes up. Then look it up on the Genii site.

Kent - That's another fun one!

Looks good Kent. Not sure if I'll bring my Okito, which is a heavy little bastard, being stainless steel.

Ah found it. Magic Magazine, Dec. 93. Will probably hold off on that as I don't want to deal with Boston type stuff until I can get a good start on the basics with a normal box first.

Lovely routine Kent. I believe the Marlo Okito stuff is also in the Arcade Dreams book, which may be a lot easier to get hold of.

Just watched the last episode of Fool Us for the year...there's a magician I've never seen before, Sinbad Max, and he does an outstanding Okito Box routine.

Sinbad Max sells the routine (which includes an Okito box) for a very reasonable thirty bucks or so. It's awesome.

The last cool bit (sound of the coin slowly disappearing) was created by my friend Craig Ousterling and was actually taught in Genii some months back.

Just use the online search feature - it's in Kaona's column a couple of years ago and is the only result for "Craig Ousterling".

The Genii search feature was down over the weekend, but it's back up. The column is in the May 2016 issue, page 30.

I was trying to search that (and a few other things) and couldn't, so glad to hear that Genii search is back up. The Ousterling move is a great example of a real gem hidden in print. I thought it was one of the strongest moments of that routine on TV. It's actually pretty easy to do to. Craig had me doing in fairly effectively in about five minutes.

For those who don't want to search, the move can be found on page 30, of the May 2016 issue of Genii.
