Looney Toons redux

Post by Chris Aguilar » 8 months ago

Over the years, Warner Bros. has tried to bring back the loony toons characters in a bunch of different ways, with most of the efforts ranging from indifferent to execrable.

A year or two back, word was that Warner's was looking to produce over a thousand minutes of new toons in the classic format. Honestly didn't think it would amount to much.

But, holy shit, look at this!

If this is a harbinger of what's to come, the producers of these shorts really get it and understand the visual nature of the comedy. I love the classic shorts so much and hope this new series does them justice.

From this clip, they just might.

That's amazing. Let's hope they get good voice actors to do all the Mel Blanc parts.
Conjure Nation...home of banter, hissy fits, bourbon-fueled philosophy and crazy talk!

Social media is a hostile, crap-filled, dumpster-fire of shit.
